I’m home from my boarder just in time for Christmas. My time away was absolutely pawsome. I spent my time showing my skills off to new friends at the RSA and playing with guide dog breeding stock Asha. I definitely need a few extra naps.

A decision has been made that I’m going to be a working guide dog rather than breeding stock. Having either job is a huge privilege and I’m happy I can concentrate on learning my guiding skills.

This year has flown by. I have had so many experiences, which have led me to learn many new skills. I can’t believe how little I was at the start of the year. I’ve grown up from needing to be carried up the stairs to beating my Puppy Walker up and down every time, even when she has a head start. One thing that hasn’t changed is my determination to demolish toys, although having adult teeth has sped up the process for sure.

My highlight for the year has been going to the beach to play with other dogs in the water. I have so much fun and come home so happy and tired I don’t even mind having a bath.

My lowlight is when I have to wear a halti dog collar out walking. I’m used to it now, but that doesn’t mean I enjoy it.

I hope Santa’s elves have been busy, I’ve sent my Christmas list in.

Have a safe and relaxing holiday and I’ll update you in the New Year.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
