Blind Foundation Guide Dogs. Three guide dog puppies sitting in a row, looking at the camera

Guide dogs act as the eyes for many New Zealanders who are blind or have low vision. They provide freedom, confidence, companionship and independence and many people would not be able to live life to the full without a guide dog by their side.

There are many ways you can support guide dogs, either by fundraising, volunteering or donating. The breeding and training of our four-legged heroes simply wouldn’t be possible without the support of the public.

Red Puppy Appeal

Red Puppy Appeal took place on Friday 1 and Saturday 2 April. Find out more.

Have you been visited by our fundraisers?

We have fundraisers across New Zealand who are asking the public to become Red Puppy Sponsors. Find out how to identify our face to face fundraisers, where they are and more about what they are doing.
