Become a Blind Week street collector

The Blind Week street collection is on Friday 6th and Saturday 7th October and we are looking for volunteers who can spend a couple of hours collecting money to help people who are blind or have low vision to enjoy all the good things in life.

What’s involved with collecting?

Once you have registered, we’ll allocate you to a local coordinator. Your coordinator will ensure you have a collection vest, a bucket and everything you need to make your collection a success. All you need to do is bring your friendly face and passion for supporting people with sight loss!

Can I collect at a particular spot?

If you have a favourite site where you would like to collect just indicate on the registration form and we’ll do our best to make sure you get there. It will be dependent on whether we can find a coordinator for the site and how many collectors they already have.

Can we volunteer as a group?

If you are part of a church, school, Lions or Rotary Club, or if your work colleagues are keen to get involved, the more the merrier!  Just indicate on the registration form if you are signing up on behalf of a group.
