Volunteer for an established event

Red Puppy Bikkie Day
Every year, bakers from across New Zealand don their aprons and bake and sell puppy-shaped bikkies to support Blind Foundation guide dogs. If you or your company love to bake, this is the event for you!
Red Puppy Appeal
Get a team together to raise funds for guide dogs by volunteering for the Red Puppy Appeal street collection in March.
Losing your sight can be life-shattering. Each October volunteers across the country raise funds to provide essential practical and emotional support for people who are blind or have lost their sight.
Marathons and fun runs
Get a team from work together to participate in a challenge event or a fun run for a good cause! We’ll provide you with all the support you need. Find out what events are coming up.
Organise your own event
You can organise your own fundraising activities to support the Blind Foundation. We can provide you with useful tips on how to run a successful fundraising event, plus we can support your programme with branding and a range of blindness-related information.
- Hold a golfing event and invite your suppliers to support you to raise funds for the Blind Foundation
- Tailor an event to fit your corporate culture and help reinforce your values to staff e.g. about fitness (fun run), creativity (craft sale), competition (trivia night).
- Raise funds through a company event such as your Christmas party.
