Wellington Museum Tour – Arrival and Settlement
A tour based on the title ‘Arrival and Settlement’ has been organised for Tuesday the 5th of April at 1.00pm.
The tour will focus on learning about the stories of people arriving in Te Whanganui a Tara, Wellington. Beginning with Kupe and Tangata Whenua then moving on to stories of colonial settlers. The tour will visits key objects in the Museum collection and explores the stories they tell.
It will last for approximately 45 minutes, followed by a chance to ask questions over a cup of tea. The tour will be available for up to three low vision or blind participants and will be supported by member of the museum staff, a Blind Foundation volunteer and/or a Blind Foundation staff member.
