Wellington: Accessible Arts Program 2017

Experience and share with others the world of arts including an introduction to improvisation theatre, West Coast Swing Dancing, group drumming session, a Vincents Art Workshop session, enjoying visual arts with Wellington Museum, as well as getting to know Blind Foundation members from around the country and enjoying what Wellington City has to offer!


A two night, three-day program in Wellington City.


For Blind Foundation members aged 18 and older, who have an interest in any form of the arts and how they can access these. You will need a willingness to experience new things and ways of doing things. Please note this programme is designed for members who are independent. Places are available for 8-10 adults supported by two BF staff and volunteers.


The cost per person will be $150.  This includes accommodation, programmed activities and all meals during the course of program. Transport from your home to Wellington will be your own responsibility, also any additional accommodation or meals before or after the trip. Some spending money is advisable for souvenirs, coffee shops etc. while we are in and around the city.

A selection process will occur if the event is oversubscribed. Late applications will not be accepted.
