Visit to the National Portrait Gallery (morning session)
The National Portrait Gallery is running a guided tour of the exhibition, Leo Bensemann & Friends: Portraiture and The Group.
The tour will focus on a selection of the work displayed by artists such as Evelyn Page, Olivia Spencer Bower, Rita Angus, Toss Woollaston, Doris Lusk and Colin McCahon.
A National Portrait Gallery staff member will guide the tour and share information about the images and the stories behind them.
Each tour will be available for up to three blind or low vision participants and will be supported by member of the gallery staff, a Blind Foundation volunteer and/or a Blind Foundation staff member. Both tours will last for approximately 45 minutes There will be a trip to the local café for tea/coffee afterwards for those interested.
Where: National Portrait Gallery
Shed 11, Customhouse Quay opposite Johnston St, Wellington Waterfront
When: Tuesday 6 December. First tour is at 11am and then a second tour at 1pm.
