Tandem Talk – a tandem gathering
Are you a biking enthusiast? Always wanted to ride the country by tandem bike? Interested in volunteering?
We invite you to join us for short evening get together, to “Talk Tandem” with like-minded people in your community, meet some active Blind Foundation members in the Nelson area who are keen on biking and take the opportunity to have a go as a Tandem Bike Pilot.
This is a “have a go” tandem biking and gathering after work based at the McCashin’s Brewery Kitchen & Bar. We are calling all tandem novice to enthusiasts, volunteers and those who just want to “talk tandem”. We will have some tandem bikes, volunteers and plenty of nibbles ready and waiting for you to have a short ride on the Stoke Railway Reserve. This is a great opportunity to come and meet people in the community keen on biking and a fine autumn social gather.
Bring: Wear suitable clothes for short bike ride and talking at the bar!
Note: If the weather is unsuitable for riding, we will meet regardless to “talk tandem” over some nibbles and a cold drink.
