Red Puppy Appeal March 2019
22 & 23 March 2019
Blind Foundation guide dogs give freedom and independence to New Zealanders who are blind or have low vision. They help their handlers with all sorts of everyday tasks, like getting to work and using public transport.
It takes two years of rigorous training for a pup like Yates to become a guide dog and help his handler get around safely and confidently.
The breeding and training of guide dogs simply wouldn’t be possible without the generous support of the public, and that’s why the Red Puppy Appeal street collection is so crucial.
Will you donate two hours of your time this Red Puppy Appeal street collection? Help us train more guide dogs by hitting the streets with your bucket next March.
