An Introduction to the Wellington Museum (Part 2)
‘An introduction to the museum – Part 2’ is a follow up to the tour started on the 4th of July. In Part 1 the group were introduced to the lower parts of the museum building. In Part 2 the tour will move up to the higher floors of the building, to continue exploring the developments of the museum over time.
During the visit there will be discussion of the museum practices which will extend to consider future directions for Wellington Museum. It will last for approximately 45 minutes, followed by a chance to ask questions over a cup of tea.
The tour will be available for up to three low vision or blind participants and will be supported by member of the museum staff, a Blind Foundation volunteer and/or a Blind Foundation staff member.
