Free disability law education sessions

Tuesday, 13 March 2018, 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Auckland Disability Law (ADL) works with people with disabilities around their disability related legal issues, and provides legal education and law reform work within the community.

ADL invites you to attend their free community programme “Unpacking Disability Law”, starting 13 March. You are invited to attend the entire programme, or attend selected sessions.

This community-based programme is designed for disabled people and supporters, focused on making your legal rights on disability easy to understand. Sessions will include your rights on disability and discrimination, mental health, employment and when dealing with the Police.

You can download information about all sessions, or email for more information.

Sessions run from 10am to 1pm, with a break (light refreshments).

Sessions are held at Auckland Disability Law Offices, at the Mangere Community Law Centre, Unit 9, Shop 27, Waddon Place, Mangere Town Centre.
