Calling all youth for an international development opportunity
The Blind Foundation is looking for four young people to join an international youth development programme.
Are you 18 – 25 years old and registered with the Blind Foundation? Would you like to be part of this exciting new programme?
If you’re accepted, you’ll head to Canada for a camp where you’ll gain confidence and knowledge. You will develop your leadership skills through seminars, team projects and workshops and put them to the test in outdoor activities. You’ll meet people from around the world and experience Canadian life. This programme has it all.
Part of this fantastic opportunity will include a training day here in New Zealand before you go. Once back from camp you will present to the Blind Foundation Board. With all the skills and knowledge you’ve gained, you will then lead a blindness community project. A Blind Foundation team will be with you every step of the way.
If you require the application form in a format other than digital, or would like more information about the programme, please contact Ineke Vas on firstname.lastname@example.org or 0800 24 33 33.
All applicants will be contacted by Friday 20 May 2016 to let them know if they have been successful. Applicants might be phoned by one member of the selection panel for further information.
