Wellington

Monday, 20 March 2017, 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

A tour to the Cable Car Museum has been organised for Monday the 20th of March.

During the tour we will discover how the cable car had a hand in shaping the development of the city. Uncover the people, technology and stories of this Wellington icon. Includes a return trip on the cable car and opportunity to climb aboard the red rattler.

The tour will last for approximately one hour including time to ask questions over a cup of tea. The tour will be available for up to three low vision or blind participants and will be supported by museum staff, volunteers and a Blind Foundation staff member.

Meeting places: Either at the railway station at 12.15pm or at the Cable Car station on Lambton Quay at 12.30pm. We will then take the cable car up to the museum.

The cost is $7.50 adult return, or free for Goldcard holders.
