Art Space Workshop

Where: Oppenheim Room, Braille House, 121 Adelaide Road, Newtown, Wellington
Who: Blind Foundation clients, volunteers and staff who have an interest in art and a willingness to try new thing

Join us for an art workshop with some of the completed pieces being displayed at Braille House.

Participants can take part in canvas painting with tactile and acrylic paints, flax weaving, pottery, card making and much more.
An art tutor will be on site Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday to provide assistance.

Our theme for the workshop is Whānau. Often translated as ‘family’ its meaning is more complex. It includes physical, emotional and spiritual dimensions and is based on whakapapa.
