Alexandra Pop-Up Office
The Blind Foundation is pleased to present our very first ‘pop up office’ event, in Alexandra.
Here you will have the chance to learn more about what the Blind Foundation can do for you, browse our equipment display, or you can even just come along for a tea or coffee and a chat.
If you work in rest home care, this event is also for you! This is an opportunity to learn more about supporting residents with deteriorating eyesight in their daily living, and for your residents to find out how the Blind Foundation could help them adjust to changing eyesight.
Almost half of our clients are aged 80 and over, because some of the most common eye conditions like macular degeneration are age-related. It is our priority to ensure people who could benefit from our services know we are here and how we can help, as well as to provide access to our full range of services for existing clients.
We welcome you along to browse our equipment display of adaptive household items and technology, or simply to come for a tea or coffee and a chat.
