About Blind Week

Blind Week is the time of year when we celebrate New Zealanders who are blind or have low vision and are living their life without limits. It’s an opportunity for people to share their stories, and inspire others to do the same.

Today at least three more New Zealanders will be told that they are losing their sight. The aim of Blind Foundation is to provide practical and emotional support to these people, enabling them to face their future with confidence.

With your help this Blind Week, we can reach more people in your community who are blind or have low vision.

Get involved in Blind Week

The Blind Week street collection is back on Friday 26 and Saturday 27 October, 2018. We’re looking for volunteers who can spend a couple of hours collecting money in their local community to help people who are blind or have low vision live a life without limits.
