The Blind Foundation is delighted to partner with, and thank, our very special partners. The life changing work we do would not be possible without their support.
Hill’s Pet Nutrition began in 1939 and their brands Prescription Diet™ and Science Diet™ pet foods offer the highest-quality pet nutrition available. The nutritional formulation that became the first product in the Hill’s Prescription diet was formulated for a guide dog Buddy, in the United States.
Today the partnership offers Blind Foundation Guide Dogs nutritional diets from its pet food range to help guide dog puppies perform at their best.
The support from Hill’s Pet Nutrition assures that guide dog puppies get the very best start to their important careers as working guide dogs.

Since 1988 Air New Zealand National cargo has supported Blind Foundation Guide Dogs by moving guide dogs and guide dog puppies in training around the country, to many destinations.
With their specialised knowledge to ensure the shipments are handled with utmost care, guide dogs and puppies are moved weekly by Air New Zealand National Cargo. The professional Air New Zealand team is used to moving a fully-fledged guide dog going to its new home with a Kiwi who is blind or has low vision, or an 8-week old puppy that is going to be trained by a voluntary puppy raiser for the next 12 months.
